Southend on Sea     May 3^rd - 6^th  2002

In 1952 laurel and Hardy appeared in Southend. The Saps at Sea Tent invite Sons of the Desert to help celebrate the
50^th Anniversary of Stan and Ollie's only apperance in Essex by joining us at 23^rd UK Convention in Southend.

It will be a convention you will recommember for ever......or maybe even longer!

The 23^rd UK Convention will be helt at The Essex County Hotel, Southend-on-Sea from
mid-day Friday 3^rd May till mid-day Monday 6th May 2002.

Sons of the desert will have exclusive use of the hotel and all its facilities.

The cost of the UK Convention will include all the events (and more), accommodation and all meals throughout the weekend. Beer not included!

Cost of Convention is 180 Pounds per adult (sharing room)
150 Pounds per child (under 16)
